As communities grow, municipalities such as Riverview are seeing an increase in demand for recreation services such as community ice time at the arena, aquatic centre, soccer fields, recreation centers etc. 

 
Our Recreation Department is continually working to improve these facilities that build community assets and trying to expand access to services.

 

We believe that equal access to sports and recreation facilities is essential for an equitable society where everyone has a fair chance regardless of their social class, race, gender, or ability.
